Leadership That Reflects Our Communities

Edgar Soto is a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, lifelong educator, and community leader who has spent his life serving at every level — in the classroom, on the field, and in leadership roles that support students and families.

With more than 30 years in education, Edgar has worked across the full education system, from K-12 to higher education, helping open pathways for opportunity and strengthening public institutions. As an educator and coach, he believes in teamwork, accountability, and bringing people together to get results.

Edgar is running for the Arizona State Senate in Legislative District 17 to continue that service — fighting for strong public schools, affordable communities, and a government that works for everyday Arizonans.

A man wearing sunglasses, a black baseball cap with the USA logo, and a white USA jersey with the number 7 sitting on a wooden bench against a cracked, pale blue wall with black sports bags and a plastic bag with bananas and oranges nearby.
A soldier in military camouflage uniform and cap, standing outdoors in front of a building with a dark overhang and brick accents.
